Abstract

Healthy heart status can be evaluated using specific autonomic nervous function test. Autonomic
nervous system malfunction that can be demonstrated by assessing central and peripheral
components. Adverse cardiovascular events that result in mortality associated with the autonomous
nervous system imbalance due to attenuation or reduction of various vital factors include diet, physical
exercise, sufficient quality of sleep and lifestyle factors such as diabetes, hypertension, obesity,
metabolic syndrome, social isolation stress, excessive use of electronic gadgets, etc. All treatments
and strategies designed to improve parasympathetic control and balance the sympathovagal using
medications and alternative approaches may be unsuccessful or less successful if the sleep period
and sleep consistency are impaired. Recent day-to-day lifestyle changes and events filled with work
have no restrictions on time management and significantly drag us to the last minute. Adequate and
enhanced sleep quality has also been stated to be dependent on day-to-day healthy behaviors and
time patterns.
Furthermore, studies also indicate that too much sleep also leads to the risk of a healthy heart and its
autonomic system. Adequate sleep quality can be beneficial to a healthy body and sound mind and
can reduce mental illness towards life in modern society. The meaning of sleep and its importance
must be integrated into the occupational guidelines and explicitly practiced in relation to the various
occupations, activities, and lifestyles that include nightlife. Specific new approaches, management,
and research-based evidence enhance the quality of sleep for people who work at night shifts before
it leads them to sleep restriction and sleep deprivation.
