Glassy alloys of Se90In10-xAgx were prepared using quenching technique. Differential scanning calorimetric is performed for Se90In10-xAgx (x = 0, 2, 4, 6, 8 at. %) glasses under non-isothermal conditions at different heating rates (5, 10, 15, 20 K/min) for the thermal study. Well defined endothermic and exothermic peaks are obtained at glass transition (Tg) and crystallization temperature (Tc) respectively, which indicates that these glasses are in single phase. The dependence of glass transition temperature on the heating rate β has been studied. Calculation for the value of (Tc002D Tg) is done and the value of stability parameter S for each glassy alloy have been reported. Moynihan and Kissinger models are used for evaluating the activation energy of glass transition (Eg). Results found using these methods are in good agreement with each other. Composition dependence of these parameters is discussed in terms of average co-ordination number which shows a discontinuity at 6 at. % of Ag.
