Abstract

The results of self-study of 52 patients with borderline forms of mental disorders before and after psychotherapeutic influence. Revealed Specific of variability of self-esteem, patterns of its interaction with the personal characteristics of persons with depressive and anxiety disorders. The level of self-esteem in individuals with anxiety and depressive disorders depends not only on the functional state (self-evaluation of the mechanisms of protection and a certain level of self-esteem) but also on the specific pathological manifestations and stages of the disease process.
