Abstract

In this study, we have considered the fluid as the gray gas and medium is assumed to be non-scattering medium and radiation is absorbing –emitting radiation. The effects of heat radiation and chemical reaction on an infinite vertical isothermal plate with variable mass diffusion are examined. The temperature of the plate is increased to
, and the concentration near the plate increases linearly over time. The governing momentum, energy, and concentration equations are solved using simplifying assumptions, and analytical solutions for fluid velocity, temperature distribution, and mass concentration are obtained. MATLAB software is used to generate the various parameter graphs. We found that the temperature rises as the radiation parameter falls and Chemical process diminishes the concentration resulting in thinner the boundary layer.
