Abstract

To investigate the response of two broccoli cultivars to four Nano fertilizers types a field experiment was conducted at vegetable field, Department of Horticultural and landscape, Agricultural and Forestry College, Mosul, Iraq during 2020-2021 season. The two broccoli cultivars were (Matsuri F1 and Lotus F1) and the four Nano fertilizers types (control, K 27%, Zn 12%, Fe 9%), at 2 gm. L.-1 concentration with three times spraying. The treatments were arranged in factorial experiment in split plot within randomized complete block design with three replicates. The results showed that Lotus F1 cultivar was significantly superior than Matsuri F1 cultivar in number of leaves per plant (23.4667), number of days from planting to heading (89.050), Number of days to 50% curds maturity (120.33), average weight of secondary curd (28.358 g.), number of secondary curds per plant (1.891), main curd circumference (52.145), plant yield of secondary curds (54.650 g.). Nano fertilizers K, Zn, Fe were significantly superior than control in plant height, number of leaves per plant, plant leaf area (cm2), Chlorophyll Content (SPAD), number of days from planting to heading, number of days to 50% curds maturity, average weight of secondary curd, number of secondary curds per plant, main curd circumference, plant yield of secondary curds, total yield of main curds (ton.h.-1). Interaction treatments between cultivars and nano fertilizers showed a significant difference in all parameters.
