Abstract

Although the number of cotton varieties introduced into production in the world is large, the various morpho-economic features within the description belonging to the populations of these varieties are not fully preserved in subsequent generations. This leads to a decrease in cotton yield and fiber quality. In this article presents the characteristics in different soil-climatic conditions in terms of plant height, productivity and boll weight. The data obtained as a result of the analysis within the population revealed that the genetic composition of the population is variable according to the main traits. In terms of plant height, productivity and boll weight, C-01 cotton variety showed that the level of yield in different soil-climatic conditions is stable compared to Omad, Okkurgan 2, Bukhara-6, Т-100 and L-001 varieties.
